I have over 20 years’ experience teaching piano and singing to children and adults of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to advanced.  I also teach musical theatre, music theory, composition and orchestration. I am a registered teacher with the Independent Society of Musicians and have a current DBS certificate. 

 

Lessons are tailored to the ability, age and musical tastes of each individual pupil.  Students have the opportunity to learn a wide variety of music, from pop to classical, musicals and jazz.   Students can learn just for fun, confidence building and personal achievement or can be prepared for piano, singing and music theory exams with the Associated Board or musical theatre exams with the London College of Music.  Please get in touch to arrange a lesson or discuss your requirements.

Theory

Lessons take place in the Piano Pod, a purpose-built, air conditioned teaching studio at my home in Bury St Edmunds, using a beautiful Steinway-built Essex piano. Online lessons are also available.

Lesson rates:

  • £18 for 20 minutes (for children aged 5 to 6)

  • £23 for 30 minutes

  • £35 for 45 minutes

  • £46 for 60 minutes​

 

Lessons can be paid by cash or BACS.​​

 

Cancellation policy:

Please note, if you need to cancel a lesson for any reason, please contact me, giving as much notice as possible.  The full lesson fee will be charged for any lesson cancelled after 9 am on the day of the scheduled lesson.
